important Tips for Submitting Your Nomination Successfully

  • The deadline to submit your nomination is December 4, 2017.
  • You must be logged in as an NASW/Texas Member to access this form. Your login information is the same as what you use at www.SocialWorkers.org. Should you require any assistance signing in, please contact our staff at naswtex.naswtx@socialworkers.org or 512-474-1454.
  • You may use the PDF version of the submission form to prepare for the online form. Once you begin filling out the online form you must complete it in one sitting; you cannot save and return to it. We recommend using these downloadable forms to ensure you have collected all the necessary information.
  • The position statement should be the following length: President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, NLIC Chair (200 words); Board Member, Student Representatives, Branch Chairs, NLIC Representatives, Delegate Assembly Representatives (75 words). If your statement is too long, it will not be edited; it will be cut off at the maximum word length.
  • View last year's listing of candidates to see how your information will be presented to the membership if you are slated.
  • Do not attach resumes, vitae etc., these will not be considered by the NLIC.
